Dermal Fillers – Volux

The new anti-ageing approach that remodels the skin and improves skin laxity

Dermal fillers have come a very long way in the last few years and are still used to RESTORE ENHANCE & DEFINE YOUR FEATURES, minimising wrinkles, folds and adding volume to faces and lips. They can also now be used to lift faces and features instead of opting for surgical procedures.

At Dermaesthetics we use only FDA approved dermal fillers containing Hyalaronic acid which naturally occurs in our bodies and is found in the dermis layer. It helps to keep skin smooth and hydrated. Hyalaronic acid levels naturally decrease with age resulting in visible signs of ageing (sunken cheeks, lines and wrinkles and flatter, deflated lips).

With over 14 years’ experience as an advanced injector and annual updated training in new techniques with the product manufacturer and world renowned facial surgeons we are now also able to offer the 8 point face lift.

Predominantly using the Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Vycross range, including Voluma, Volift and Volbella the following areas can be treated – brow lift, cheek augmentation, tear trough (eyebags) temple reshape, nose to mouth fold improvement, jaw and chin reshape.

Lip fillers have never been more popular with many clients requesting fuller, plumper pouts. However we can treat smoker’s lines, loss of definition and shape and lift corners of the mouth using products across the Juvederm range.

 Dermal Fillers Treatment FAQs

What is the procedure?

The area/areas to be treated are cleansed using a surgical cleanser and the skin may be marked with a skin marker pencil to highlight areas to be injected. The dermal filler gel is injected under the skin using a fine needle or a cannula (this can be explained in more detail at consultation) Cannula use enables less injection points and therefore can assist in minimising bruising.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Immediately after treatment you may see some redness and swelling at the injection site and it may feel tender to touch. These side effects typically disappear within 24 hours. Some clients experience temporary bruising in the week following treatment.

How Many Treatments Would I Need?

At your initial consultation your practitioner will determine how much filler and which product will be needed to achieve your desired results. An individualised plan of treatment will be made and treatment may be carried out over more than one session.

What Results Can I Expect To See?

Volux is injected into chin and jaw to give improved definition, sharpness and a tauter appearance, results can be expected to last 18-24 months

Amazingggggg

Went for my first set of lip fillers Mandy was very calm and patient with me when I went pale as a sheet and felt a bit off. Talked me through the whole thing and I wouldn’t even think of going to anyone else for my lip fillers now. I didn’t have a top lip at all compared to my bottom one and now they look completely natural and I have finally got a top lip which looks like I should have had it all along, Cant recommend enough!!!! Thank you! x
